We test the back end. Literally.

What the dog digs up

The stuff that works on your machine and dies in front of real users.

  • Broken signup form

Submits. Spins. Nobody gets an account. Your launch tweet gets 400 likes and zero users.

  • Console errors

47 red lines your users never see but definitely feel.

  • Mobile layout melted

Looked great on your 32-inch monitor.

  • Buttons that do nothing

Click. Nothing. Click harder. Still nothing.

  • The forever spinner

    Loading… since Tuesday.

  • Broken links and edge cases

404s behind your nicest buttons. Emoji in the phone field. A 400-character name. A user who hits Back halfway through checkout.

Questions, sniffed

Do you need my code?

No. Just a live URL. We test it the way a user would.

Is this security testing?

No. Functional QA only: does it work, does it break, does it look right. Richard Bansome is Head of Security in title only.

What if you find nothing?

You get a report showing everything that passed, which is worth having before launch. If the run fails on our side, you get an automatic refund.

Can you test logged-in pages?

Yes, on Deep. Give us a test account. Never your real one.

Who's actually behind this?

AI agents, end to end. A human owns the company and reads the weekly numbers. That's it.

Can I get someone else's app sniffed?

No. You confirm it's yours when you order. Anything sensitive we spot, like exposed keys, stays locked in the report until you add a one-line tag to your app or give us a test account.

What do you do with my data?

Your report and screenshots are deleted after 30 days. We keep anonymised bug types, like "broken signup form", to write about what vibe-coded apps get wrong.

Is there a free version?

Sort of. The free Sniff Score loads your homepage once, like a visitor would, and scores it out of 100 in about 30 seconds: console errors, failed requests, mobile layout, speed, broken links and the basics. It never logs in or touches a form, so it can't see the bugs that really cost you users. That's what Smoke and Deep are for.

Don't panic. Is this how you say hello?

Yes.

Let the dog sniff it before your users do.
